We’re thrilled to share this completed addition project in Arlington, MA. What a showstopper this space is! The new kitchen/dining space features 9’6” ceiling height, with 11 windows in the kitchen area alone! A unique layout of cabinetry was designed specifically to work with the architect’s plan to have lots of windows with ample natural light in the space.  The U-shaped kitchen features a large island in the center with a walnut wood countertop. Lots of drawers, pantry space, a coffee bar, wall-mounted TV, and new appliances work in harmony to encourage any home chef to hone their culinary skills. Along with the addition, we re-worked the front entry hallway area to add a small powder bathroom and mudroom area. A sliding pocket door, and a bold patterned tile floor in the bathroom add a bit of playfulness to an otherwise basic space. Every detail of this project was carefully considered and intentionally chosen by the family, and it certainly shows in the finished product.
