Project Spotlight - Interior Renovations in Arlington, MA
This week, we're taking a look inside a first floor home renovation project in Arlington, MA. Our clients on this project love to entertain, and they wanted a better floor plan, especially in their kitchen and family room area. Re-arranging a few rooms allowed us to create a better traffic flow for this family. They now have a bright and welcoming front entry and living room, complete with refinished custom wood inlay floors. We re-located the dining room to the front side of this home, in a room with plenty of windows and natural light. The back of the house now features the kitchen and family room, with plenty of seating for guests. We added a fireplace with custom built-ins on either side, creating a balanced focal point for the room. Off the kitchen, we also updated the bathroom, with new tile floors, and fresh paint. We replaced all the windows in this home, so interior trims were given a fresh coat of stain too. Check out the photos below for some highlights of this project!
This living room is so inviting. And check out the detail in that floor inlay!

We removed the wall separating the kitchen and family room (pictured below). Now this is one seamless space.
